Methods, materials, and tools

I have experience with the traditional oral examination either as group or as individual examination since 1996. From 2009, I have gathered experience with the Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCE) at different levels of the praegraduate medical education. Moreover, I have experience with preparation and use of multiple-choice and essay questions since 2009.

For my pre- and postgraduate lectures, I use slide sets, which I prepare on my own, as these are easy to update. In addition, I prepare fictive cases, which clearly elucidate the clinical problem, the audience should learn to solve. In some special situations, I also use short videos to support the message of my lectures.
